Goals and Priorities
From our Motiv8ing Ideas Archive
The famous quote by Laurence J Peter tells us "If you don't know where you are going, you will probably end up somewhere else".
Most of us experience unprecedented squeeze on our time. When you consider the relentless pace of change, the widespread use of technology, e-mail, mobile phones, avalanches of information, it is so easy to get caught up in this swell-tide and the many pressures of our environment.
And yet so few of us set down any path for ourselves through all this chaos! So it's not surprising we end up feeling disoriented and stressed!
In these times, we owe it to ourselves, more than ever before, to identify and clarify our personal goals, to stay focused on our life priorities. Of course, we also need to be flexible to change, to 'let go' of anything which is irrelevant and gets in the way of achieving our targets, and be focused and determined enough to say 'no' where 'yes' sends us in the wrong direction.
Making good choices is an inherent part of achieving a better life balance.
Abdicating these choices to someone else is an inherent cause of poor life balance.
Our LifeDesign workbook (and associated workshop) was created specifically to help people identify and clarify personal life goals, and help people, through making good choices, achieve improved life balance.

We also offer a Managing T-I-ME programme to help individuals balance priorities and demands on time, and achieve efficient and focused use of time.
