Personal Mission: your North Star

From our Motiv8ing Ideas Archive

"Reach high, for the stars lie hidden in your soul;
dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal"

Pamela Vaull Starr

During the past month, a dear friend and colleague (thank you Bente!) helped me discover a wonderful story entitled "North Star", which has prompted this month's topic of "Personal Mission".

The North Star enables seafarers to set their course and to stay on course...exactly what a "Personal Mission" can do for each of us.
A "Personal Mission" provides energy, drive, and a basis for decision-making in life.
Of course, a "Personal Mission" does not have to be about changing the world or becoming rich and famous; on the other hand, a "Personal Mission" does not have to be limited by our present circumstances.
Each of our Personal Missions will reflect our own unique combination of personal goals, aspirations and life situations.

We hope you find the "North Star" story link below an inspiration to identify and pursue your "Personal Mission" in life...or perhaps it will simply re-motivate you to get back on course. If that's the case, we are sure you'll find that our LifeDesign workbook will prove an invaluable resource to help you set, and stay on, course.

Remember, your "Personal Mission" is about what course you choose!
